Vehicle interior air quality: Filtration and ventilation
Emissions Analytics has been recognised by the Society of Automotive Engineers in 2019 for its methodology development and, in 2022, this was standardised following two years of collaborative work under European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) Workshop 103, leading to the publication of CWA 17934:2022.
CWA 17934 provides a test methodology for collecting comparable interior air quality test data for different light duty vehicle makes and models. The methodology sets out how to conduct tests and report results, including equipment, calibration, test boundaries and outputs. By standardising data collection, vehicles can be compared in a transparent, consistent and concise manner, and allow the aggregation of data from multiple sources.
In terms of testing your vehicle, heating and ventilation system, or filtration technology, we can either follow these established methods or adapt them to meet your preferences and requirements.
